What is new in TextCalc 2.0?
Drawings are part of the document flow. Tables have editable cells, row and column menus, adjustable widths and optional titles. You can rearrange drawings, recordings, tables and text sections, then export your work as a PDF.
How do I move a drawing or recording?
Open Document actions and choose Arrange elements. Drag an element handle to a divider to change its position. The element menu also lets you move it earlier, later or to your text cursor.
Can I draw with my finger?
Yes. Draw with your finger on iPhone, or use Apple Pencil on iPad. On iPad you can switch finger drawing on in the drawing controls and expand the drawing for more space.
How do tables work?
Tap a cell to type. Use the row and column dots to add or delete rows and columns. Drag a column handle to resize it, or choose Column width from its menu. The table menu lets you edit or remove its title. Tap Done to hide the editing controls. Table cells hold text; live math runs in the surrounding note.
Do my notes sync between iPhone and iPad?
Yes, through your private iCloud. Use the same Apple Account and enable iCloud for TextCalc on both devices. You can work offline; syncing needs a connection and available iCloud storage. Your note content is not sent to our servers.
Is TextCalc a subscription?
No. Start with three personal notes and included examples. Pro is a single purchase for unlimited notes, reusable templates, live currency rates and PDF project headers and page numbers. Your local price is shown by Apple before you buy.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Write notes, calculate, draw and edit tables offline. Currency conversion uses the last available rate snapshot. Updating rates and syncing changes through iCloud need an internet connection.
Which devices are supported?
TextCalc is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. Apple Pencil needs a compatible iPad. Apple Intelligence Writing Tools require a supported device and system configuration.
